A wet weekend in Wales

Whilst browsing through the deals on Wowcher (instead of doing uni work) a couple of months ago, I spotted a weekend break in this amazingly unique Majestic bus and instantly fell in love. It looked so cosy and beautiful in all the pictures, and after watching it on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, James and I were immediately checking dates, emailing and booking.

However on the (very long) journey to the bus I suddenly realised I stupidly hadn't even read any reviews on the bus and began to worry. There was no need because it was even more cute and perfect than we expected (as you can see in the pictures). The fire was already lit on arrival and a homemade lemon drizzle cake was waiting for us to devour it (which we did, almost immediately). It was also extremely clean and all the basics/essentials (towels, milk, wood for the fire) were provided.

Having a couple of days in the middle of no where, in the cutest and cosiest bus (I know how weird that sounds) with no internet, no phones and no work/revision (and no makeup for me) was just what we needed. We both felt totally revived and refreshed afterwards. Even though it was rainy, foggy and generally dull most of the time, it didn't affect our experience at all, and somehow made the bus even more cosy. Our time was mostly spent walking around the stunning surroundings, having baths, sitting by the fire, playing board games, eating (too much) food and drinking (too much) wine- which is definitely our kind of perfect.

James and I have always been outdoors kind of people. I was bought up in the middle of the Suffolk countryside and automatically feel at home and content when surrounded by fields and "greenness". So this was the perfect break for us. I realise this type of break isn't everyones cup of tea, but I 100% recommend a stay at the Majestic bus and will personally be returning very soon!
